A couple of years ago we completed a £6 billion refinancing package aptly named Argonaut. Nabarros’ role in this project was to be responsible for undertaking the vast majority of the property due diligence work. It was a hugely stressful time for all concerned and it would often get to the stage where at some ungodly hour, either one of their team or I would decide “enough is enough, down to the pub in five minutes!” Everyone needs a short and well earned break even in the middle of this kind of deal.
