'I’ve been working with Nabarros for over 10 years and brought them into Numis when I joined.

I like the individuals, they are really good guys. We all work extremely hard for very high stakes but they know how to do that while having a good time.

Nabarros are outstanding lawyers and extremely commercial. What strikes a particular chord with me is their can-do attitude. When you bring Nabarros in on a job, you know they are going to get it done.

Such a positive attitude is in marked contrast to a number of other firms. Sometimes you’ll ring up a lawyer and you can tell from the other end of the phone it’s not going to happen. Nabarros are always willing, always available.

Nabarros work with you as opposed to looking after their own interests and marking up timesheets. They also stand out in terms of referring work to us from other clients. Most law firms are hopeless at that but Nabarros are highly entrepreneurial.

‘I’m not saying all the referrals convert into business but they act as a network for their clients. Some time ago we had four referrals in one month. Other lawyers who aren’t doing that simply don’t add the same value.

We recently had a secondee from Nabarros. Again, that’s symptomatic of their proactive approach. Nabarros had been pushing me to make it happen. That’s absolutely typical of the way they work.

More to the point, they gave us a good guy to work with. He has given them a better understanding of what we do, a real insight into life on our side of the fence and what makes us tick.

Nabarros are highly professional and personable people. You never hear things are too difficult or they haven’t got time. They are getting, and will continue to get, more work from Numis.'
