Nabarro partner appointed President of INSOL Europe

Head of restructuring & insolvency at law firm Nabarro, Patricia Godfrey, was recently appointed to the prestigious position of president of INSOL Europe at this year’s INSOL Europe 2009 conference in Stockholm.

INSOL Europe is the European association of professionals who specialise in restructuring and insolvency. Its membership consists of accountants, lawyers and insolvency practitioners together with lenders, regulators, members of the judiciary, credit managers, credit insurers and academics from across Europe. It is a member of INSOL International (www.insol.org), the global insolvency and turnaround association.

Patricia will use her knowledge and experience in the industry to work along side other members of INSOL Europe to continue to develop it as one of the leading insolvency organisations. Recognised in the principal legal directories including the Legal 500 and Chambers as one of the "Leaders in her field" for many years, she will be bringing this experience to her new role in INSOL Europe.

As well as being appointed president of INSOL Europe this year, in April 2008 Patricia completed a one-year term as president of R3 (the Association of Business Recovery Professionals). She also holds the position of deputy chair of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce and vice chair of the German-British Forum.
