Nabarro LLP promotes three to the partnership

Nabarro LLP has promoted three associates to partnership. From 1 May 2010, Michael Delaney will become a partner in the banking, finance and restructuring group, Kristy Duane will become a partner in the corporate group, and Eesheta Shah will become a partner in the intellectual property group. All three will be based in London.
Michael Delaney qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and joined Nabarro's banking and finance team in January 2005. Michael acts for lenders and borrowers on a wide range of finance transactions and has particular experience in real estate finance, structured finance and cross border debt restructurings. Michael has acted for the firm's clients Bank of Scotland, Bayerische Landesbank, Unite, Quintain and Barclays Bank. He is currently on secondment with GE Capital Real Estate.
Kristy Duane joined Nabarro as an Australian qualified solicitor in April 2005 and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in February 2008. Kristy has a wide range of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity/venture capital transactions. Kristy has represented a number of the firm's key corporate clients including AssetCo, Quintain, Dealogic, SPARK Ventures, Haldane Stores and Lazard and is one of the founding members of the firm's Climate Change and Energy Group.
Eesheta Shah is an intellectual property lawyer who trained with Nabarro and qualified in September 2000. Eesheta works primarily with clients in the technology, engineering, media, real estate and financial services sectors. Her clients include Oracle America, Inc., Laing O'Rourke PLC, On Demand Group, Land Securities PLC, and a number of investment companies. Eesheta's work involves intellectual property strategies, brand clearance and protection and the commercial exploitation of IPR. Much of Eesheta's work is international, and she has a growing profile within INTA, the international trade mark body.
