Nabarro acts on iconic £127m Mailbox sale

The Nabarro real estate team has advised on the £127.1m acquisition by Brockton Capital of one of Birmingham city centre's most iconic mixed use schemes, the Mailbox.
The 640,980 sq ft site is being co-funded by retail developer Milligan. It includes 200,000 sq ft of office, 150,000 sq ft of retail, 70,000 sq ft of restaurant uses and a 686 space public car park.
Partner Rob Raimes who led the Nabarro team, including Marc Franks (partner) Mario Michael (associate) and Chris Oakley (senior associate), said:
"This has been an exciting transaction with a rapid turnaround of just a couple of weeks. We're delighted to have assisted Brockton in acquiring such a significant asset."
