Nabarro acts on £108 million shopping centre sales for The Mall Fund

The Sheffield office of international law firm Nabarro has acted for The Mall Fund on the sale of two regional shopping centres for a combined price in excess of £108 million.

The Alhambra Centre in Barnsley and The Cleveland Centre in Middlesbrough have both been bought by F&C Reit.

Chris Chambers, partner at Nabarro, who led the Nabarro team acting on the deal, commented:

"We have worked with The Mall Fund for a number of years and were delighted to act for them on these sales. These types of transactions are very challenging in the current market, so it was particularly satisfying to bring them to a successful conclusion and enable the client to achieve its strategic objectives."
