Nabarro acts on sale of Covent Garden's tallest building

Nabarro LLP has advised UK & European Investments (UKI), the property arm of the Lewis Trust Group, the owner of the River Island clothing chain, on the sale of Orion House to Schroders' West End of London Property Unit Trust, for £74.5m.
The 11-storey, 88,000 sq ft building on Upper St Martin's Lane is let to tenants including Marathon Asset Management and Edmund De Rothschild Asset Management.
Partner Caroline Maude and senior associate Nathan Rees acted for UKI. Norton Rose acted for the purchaser.
Commenting on the sale, Caroline Maude said:
"We acted on the acquisition of this property in 2008, and it is always satisfying to be able to work with a client to successfully realise a significant return on its investment. The sale was concluded within a very short timeframe and provides a clear indication of the current level of appetite in the market for quality assets."
