Nabarro advises Hammerson on revised plans for Southampton WestQuay

Nabarro has advised Hammerson on revised plans for a landmark restaurant and leisure development at WestQuay in Southampton. The 5.4 acre Watermark site adjacent to WestQuay will include restaurants, a cinema, shops and apartments with a landscaped plaza.

Hammerson has signed a new four year agreement with Southampton Council in order to bring forward the development plans originally agreed in 2010, which complement the real estate company's neighbouring shopping centre at WestQuay.

The Nabarro team advising Hammerson was led by real estate partner Rob Raimes assisted by real estate associate Stephanie Comfort.
