Nabarro ECM practice continues to flourish

The Corporate team at law firm Nabarro has closed a range of fundraisings in the equity capital markets in the last week, including:
- Acting for Oriel Securities Limited on the £50 million placing by Falkland Oil and Gas Limited, to finance its proposed exploration activities in the Falkland Islands. The Nabarro team was led by partner Warren Taylor, assisted by associate Sophie Dixon. Falkland Oil and Gas was represented by McGrigors LLP.
- Acting for Investec Bank plc on the £21 million placing and open offer by Innovation Group plc, to fund the expansion of its BPO (business process outsourcing) business within the insurance sector. The Nabarro team was led by partner Russell Holden, assisted by associate Samantha Wright. Innovation Group was represented by Dorsey & Whitney LLP.
- Acting for Evolution Securities Limited on the £20 million placing by Brightside Group plc, to accelerate the growth of its existing broking, premium financing and medical reporting businesses. The Nabarro team was led by partner Martin Finnegan, assisted by associate Richard Bootle. Brightside Group plc was represented by Manches LLP.
- Acting for Numis Securities Limited in relation to the £40 million placing by Tenon Group plc, to finance its acquisition of RSM Bentley Jennison. The Nabarro team was led by partner Alasdair Steele, assisted by associate Samantha Wright. Tenon Group was represented by Macfarlanes.
