Nabarro employment expert appointed to charity board

Commercial law firm Nabarro LLP is delighted to announce that its head of employment, Sue Ashtiany, has been appointed by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to its board of trustees.
Sue will work alongside other members of the board who are collectively responsible for the aims and directions of the charity. She will use her skills and experience to advise CAF in facilitating a culture of giving both nationally and internationally through working with donors, companies and charities.
Sue is a leading lawyer in the employment sector, recognised for her expertise in the discrimination space. Last year, Sue was recognised at the Asian Woman of Achievement Awards, taking home the Professional of the Year Award for her time spent serving on the Equal Opportunities Commission and as UK refugee counsellor for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Sue has made a huge contribution over several decades to the understanding of migrant and refugee issues.
Commenting on her appointment, Sue said:
