Nabarro advises on admission to AIM of de-merged companies

26 February 2008

Nabarro has advised Seymour Pierce, as nominated adviser and broker to Egdon Resources, on the de-merger and admission to AIM of Egdon Resources gas exploration and Portland Gas storage. Nabarro advised Seymour Pierce on AIM compliance and other legal issues in connection with the admission process.

Seymour Pierce is a leading London based investment bank and stockbroker focused on advising companies and raising finance for them. Egdon Resources is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company focussed on the onshore UK and mainland Europe. Portland Gas is dedicated to developing and operating gas storage facilities and gas infrastructure.

The Nabarro team was led by corporate partner Ian Binnie, assisted by associates Leon Miller and Sarah Curnow. Norton Rose advised Egdon Resources.

Corporate partner Ian Binnie commented:

“We originally advised Seymour Pierce on the admission to AIM of Egdon in December 2004 and so had a good understanding of the Egdon business and the commercial drivers behind the de-merger. It was a pleasure to work with Seymour Pierce again, and we look forward to continuing our business relationship.”
