Nabarro's alliance spreads to five jurisdictions

For some years, Nabarro has had a strategic alliance with August & Debouzy in France and GSK Stockmann & Kollegen in Germany. This has been a great success in enhancing the services that we provide to our clients.

We are therefore delighted to announce that we have now expanded the alliance to include Nunziante Magrone of Italy and Rodés & Sala of Spain.

The alliance now has more than 850 lawyers based in 17 offices spread across 7 jurisdictions.

Nunziante Magrone have 40 lawyers based in Rome, Milan and Bologna. Rodés & Sala have 50 lawyers based in Madrid and Barcelona. Each firm is highly regarded within its own jurisdiction and internationally.

Nabarro’s philosophy for international matters is to work with only a small number of highly regarded firms in each country. We want our clients to benefit from the long-term relationships that we have established with these firms and their in-depth and specialised knowledge of the local laws and legal culture. We also believe that this is the most cost effective way for our clients to undertake international work. It was this philosophy that led to our alliance in France and Germany.

The exclusive arrangements that we now have with August & Debouzy, GSK Stockmann & Kollegen, Nunziante Magrone and Rodés & Sala provide further benefits to our clients. We have practice groups across a range of disciplines and industries which are designed to ensure best practice in their areas, both on the legal and cultural issues that arise in cross border work and in project management.

We aim to provide a seamless service. We also have regular meetings to manage the alliance, and attend each other’s partners’ conferences. We hold an associates’ conference each year and this, together with regular secondments between the firms, broadens and deepens the personal relationships between us. These relationships play an integral part in delivering the levels of service that our clients expect.
