Nabarro was awarded the prestigious title of Law Firm Rebranding of the Year at the Legal Marketing Awards held on 24th May at the Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly, London. Nabarro beat five other law firm rebrands to win this award, which was presented to the firm by media icon Janet Street Porter.
Nabarro initiated research to understand what clients thought of the firm; the result was 'solid and dependable'. It brought in branding firm Identica to conduct a further analysis. The agency concluded that this stood for 'user friendly law' - a unique selling point for Nabarro. This is expressed in its new tag line 'clarity matters'. The rebrand was announced on 1 March 2007.
Simon Johnston, Senior Partner at Nabarro, comments: "This is a great achievement for the firm and testament to the hard work, creativity, and innovation that a large team achieved during this exercise."
The award was judged by an expert panel of five judges according to a range of categories including the objectives of the rebrand, research, the strategy, and communicating the changes internally and to other audiences. This was the second annual Legal Marketing Awards, which recognise and celebrate excellence in the provision and implementation of strategic marketing solutions for the benefit of legal practice.
