Peter Williamson
Peter Williamson is a Partner in our Corporate group. His principal areas of work include domestic and cross-border private and public mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets (flotations, secondary issues, private placements) and international and domestic joint ventures.
In addition, Peter is a member of the firm's corporate recovery and insolvency team. He also advises on corporate reconstructions (schemes of arrangements, debt for equity swaps) and disposals by and acquisitions from insolvent companies.
Clients include UK and international public and private companies and financial institutions.
Peter's practice is international and he advises on cross-border mergers, acquisitions and international joint ventures. He is often instructed by international clients to assist them by using his project management skills to manage an international transaction. Peter has lived and worked in Poland, Russia, the Caucasus Republics and in Central Asia where he focused on privatisations and the extraction, transportation and utilisation of natural resources, principally oil, gas and gold including advising on the Trans-Caucasian pipeline.
