Brian Sher
Brian Sher is a Partner in our EU and Competition group with particular expertise in EU and UK competition law, state aid, public procurement and EU and UK regulatory law. Brian advises major corporates, both international and domestic, operating in all industry sectors, as well as public bodies and lenders. Brian has worked with numerous international corporates advising them on behavioural competition issues, defending and litigating complaints and obtaining merger clearances. Brian has been ranked as a leading individual for Competition/EU law in Chambers for the past five years. Comments include "very pro-active and able to give advice at the drop of a hat" (2010); "talented and knowledgeable" (2009); "incredibly hard-working and determined" (2008); and "widely regarded as a real star to watch" (2006).
Brian is an active member of the Joint Working Party of the Bars and Law Societies of the UK on competition law and is a member of the Law Society's Competition Section. He is a regular speaker at commercial conferences on competition law, with his recent engagements including:

- Regular guest lecturer on the King's College, London competition law LLM for the last 10 years (on abuse of dominance)
Brian has authored numerous articles on all aspects of competition law. His recent publications include:
