Our Health Claims team is one of the largest in the UK, with a reputation for delivering sound timely advice and particular expertise in large-scale litigation, multi-party actions and group actions.

The team is best known for its work for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) defending liabilities arising from the former nationalised mining industry. This includes the vibration white finger and respiratory disease miners’ schemes, which together have over 600,000 claims with an estimated value of over £8bn.

Our other clients include Atos Origin, BP Chemicals, Extrata Group Plc, GE, Glasgow City Council, Network Rail, OSL Group Ltd and UK Coal Mining Ltd.
