Our Pensions dispute resolution team is one of the most experienced in the country and has acted in many of the leading cases. We combine depth of knowledge, the inside track on legal developments and very wide experience to deliver the most appropriate solutions.

We cover the whole range of pensions disputes, acting for trustees and representative beneficiaries, scheme employers and pensions professionals. We advise on surplus, deficit and other funding issues, trustee applications to the High Court for directions, professional negligence, breach of trust, complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman and investigations by the regulator. We also have extensive experience of ADR techniques, including mediation.

With funding issues at the top of the agenda for trustees and principal employers, we have acted in an increasing number of deficit-related claims, together with mis-selling and rectification claims. We have also been at the forefront of recent equalisation cases concerning major liabilities for equalising male and female benefits.

When required, we also draw on the expertise of our highly experienced non-contentious Pensions team.
