We provide quality legal advice on all types of commercial property development projects

Our multi-disciplinary group of solicitors is consistently recognised for the quality of the property development work we undertake. We advise commercial property developers, funders and occupiers on all types of development projects. As well as core real estate services, together with other teams we also increasingly provide specialist advice around areas such as planning, rights of light and construction.

Our solicitors have considerable experience of advising on a wide range of property developments in commercial sectors such as offices, industrial, retail and mixed use.

We are particularly expert and experienced in central London office developments. These projects have their own particular issues, including demand for tall buildings, a requirement for more mixed use development, changing trends in lease terms, such as tenant break clauses and shorter leases, and the increasing quality of internal and external office environments.

We continue to advise on many, often retail-led, town centre regeneration projects throughout the UK. The projects tend to be very large, developed through a joint venture vehicle and, because of their invariably close relation to existing buildings and occupiers, extremely complex.

With each project, we always ensure there is a single point of responsibility so that communication lines stay short and clients are kept informed every step of the way.

The Legal 500 ranks us as one of the best commercial real estate firms in the UK as 'well resourced', highly responsive' and ' superior to most firms'.
